Ultimately, Oh, Hello highlights the best and worst of Broadway. ![]() Oh, Hello’s team made a smart choice, opening the show when the only other plays were The Humans (brilliant, but not a laff riot) and The Front Page (a comedy, but of a very different kind, and almost twice as expensive). It’s simultaneously dark and charming, surreal and sharp, offering a serious catharsis in a season that's been light on humor. The semi-improvised nature of the show ensured a slightly different experience each night, encouraging repeat purchases. Longtime fans reliably packed the cheaper seats, while traditional buyers started filling the orchestra. These cameos (and their shareable online videos) helped expand the show’s audience far beyond the core demo. ![]()
